San Francisco today, Boston tomorrow

Only a few days after landing again in Buenos Aires (photo), Swiss Worldcargo is expanding in North America. Starting today, 2 September 2020, the freight division of Swiss International Air Lines will operate three weekly flights from Zurich to San Francisco (SFO), offering 140 cbm for 40 t of payload westbound and 44 t eastbound.

After the US West Coast, Swiss will deepen its footprint also at the US East Coast, beginning a weekly service to Boston (BOS) from tomorrow, 3 September.

Both new services are operated with a B777-300ER, the BOS service with a modified aircraft, allowing for additional cargo loading in the economy cabin (245 cbm in total, payload 50/54 t). (ah)
