Saudia Cargo extends multi-station contract with WFS
The air cargo handling company Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been awarded a substantial multi-station cargo handling contract by Saudia Cargo covering major airport gateways in Europe and the USA. The contract will see WFS handle in excess of 160,000 t of cargo per annum for the airline and provide ramp handling for air cargo shipments on board over 5,000 passenger and freighter flights a year.
The three-year agreement extends WFS’ existing relationships with Saudia Cargo at Paris CDG and across all airports in France as well as at Frankfurt (Germany), New York JFK and Washington Dulles airports in USA.
It also awards WFS new business for warehouse operations at London Heathrow and Manchester in the UK (from October), and ramp and cargo handling services at Brussels (Belgium) and Amsterdam (the Netherlands) airports (from November). (ah)
