Saudia Cargo Global settles in Hong Kong
Saudia Cargo and the Hong Kong-based Tam Group have formed a new joint venture - 'Saudia Cargo Global'.
The entity will serve as a regional hub for Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening Saudia Cargo’s network and supporting Saudi Arabia’s 'Vision 2030'. From its base in Hong Kong, the company will provide tailored freighter services, e-commerce logistics and pharmaceuticals transport solutions.
The move builds on a partnership dating back to 1986 and leverages Tam’s market expertise. Saudia Cargo Global aims to become a key logistics player, linking Asia to Saudi Arabia and beyond and supporting trade growth and regional connectivity.
The deal was signed by Dr Tam Wing Kun (pictured on the left), the founder and chairman of the Tam Group, and engineer Loay Mashabi, the CEO and managing director of Saudia Cargo. (ah)
