SBB Cargo International appoints new CCO
Olten-based railfreight operator SBB Cargo International has appointed Pascal Gentges as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective 1 January 2026. Currently Managing Director of RT&S Lokführer-Akademie GmbH and a member of SBB Cargo International’s management board, Gentges brings extensive operational and leadership experience across European rail freight.
Before joining the company in 2020, he held several management roles at TX Logistik AG, including Operations Manager Netherlands. Starting his career as a train driver, he has advanced steadily to executive level.
Head of Business Development Sebastian Hofmann will continue to lead Sales & Marketing on an interim basis until year-end. (ah)
