Seaintel: schedule reliability increases first time since 11/2013
According to a recent report by Danish analyst Seaintel, the global schedule reliability has increased for the first time since November 2013 as the global performance improved by 4.2 percentage points to 72.3% in March this year.
However, data from Inttra shows that global container deliveries rose from 47.3% in February to 54.8% in March - the first time there has been an increase since August 2013. As Maersk Line improved its global performance from February to March by 5 percentage points to 83.6%, the Danish carrier returned to the top spot in March as the most reliable carrier. Maersk Line was followed by Hamburg Süd and UASC, which achieved a global schedule reliability of 81.1% and 75.9%, respectively.
