
Sesé joins IRU network
Spanish logistics group Sesé has officially joined the International Road Transport Union (IRU), marking a step forward in its commitment to innovation and sustainability across global supply chains, as the IRU reported. Headquartered in Zaragoza, Sesé operates across 18 countries with a workforce of over 14,700 and offers logistics services, from intermodal and last mile to special transport and finished vehicle delivery.
Sesé integrates duo and giga trailers as well as renewable fuels, achieving up to 90% net CO₂ reductions per trip according to its own information. The firm renews its fleet every three years, with 96% of vehicles meeting Euro VI standards. IRU Secretary General Umberto de Pretto praised the move as a shared commitment to sustainable transport.
