Seth Runser to succeed Judy McReynolds as CEO
The US logistics services provider ArcBest has announced that Judy McReynolds will retire as CEO at the end of 2025 after 15 years at the helm. She’ll remain chairman of the board. President Seth Runser, a company veteran of 18 years, will assume the CEO role on 1 January 2026 and join the board. Under McReynolds, ArcBest evolved into a multibillion-dollar logistics provider and introduced innovations such as the Vaux™ material handling system.
Runser previously led ABF Freight and helped deliver record results during his tenure. ArcBest’s board highlighted his operational expertise and customer-focused leadership. Founded in 1923, ArcBest now employs 14,000 staff across 250 locations. The leadership change marks a new chapter in the company’s long history of innovation and logistics excellence, as Runser prepares to steer ArcBest through the next phase of growth. (ah)
