Shipnet dry dock growth

Shipnet, the Norway-based maritime software provider, reports continued growth for its dry docking management tool launched in 2021. The solution has now supported 486 projects worldwide. According to product owner Anil Bhardwaj (pictured), adoption accelerated after Shipnet shifted its strategy to focus on end-user needs, driving 185% growth since 2023. The tool helps technical teams plan, source, execute, and report on dockings, aiming to reduce the risk and expense associated with outdated processes and technology.

"It’s not uncommon for businesses in the shipping industry to suffer as a result of outdated technology and processes and insufficient data," said John Wills, COO at Shipnet. The software can operate as a stand-alone module or integrate with Shipnet’s wider suite. It also allows importing of historical data and offers a mobile app with offline functionality for on-site updates. (js)
