SIA's first medical relief flights into Denmark

Last week, on 2 April 2020, the first of seven scheduled A350 flights of Singapore Airlines arrived at Copenhagen airport with medical relief to Scandinavia. Flight SQ 352 usually serves this route and operates with three different passenger classes. Erwin Widjaja, general manager Nordics: "Since we began flying between Copenhagen and Singapore more than 40 years ago, we have been sending emergency aid flights to large parts of the world. This is the first time we have handled emergency aid to Denmark."

Each aircraft has between 80-100 cbm of cargo consisting solely of medical equipment in the bellyhold compartment. Once landed, the medical emergency supplies are immediately unloaded and put on board trucks. (ah)
