Siemens Energy joins 'CTPark Mülheim'
CTP has secured Siemens Energy as a tenant at its EUR 250 million 'CTPark Mülheim' project.
According to the company the energy technology group will lease around 20,000 sqm, including 17,400 sqm of warehouse space, 2,450 sqm for offices, technical and social use, plus 2,500 sqm of outdoor area, with 60 car and five truck parking spaces. CTP values the investment for these facilities at around EUR 25 million. Siemens Energy will use the site to store, maintain and prepare standard and specialised tools for global power plant construction.
The buildings will feature electric connection points for vehicles and a photovoltaic system, with DGNB Gold certification targeted for the park. Stefan Pieper, head of Siemens Energy’s Mülheim site, said the new service centre will allow consolidation of field service activities and complement existing local sites. (js)
