Solid recovered fuels from Rouen to Sweden

There is new traffic between Rouen, France, and Sweden. In recent weeks, Sea Invest Rouen loaded two ships with 3,500 t of solid recovered fuel (SRF) bound for Sweden.

This new service, operated by Véolia, is a first for Haropa - Port de Rouen and is part of the development of the SRF sector in France. The first shipments of solid recovered fuels (SRF) were packaged in Oissel by the company Ipodec Normandie, an affiliate of Véolia Recyclage & Valorisation des Déchets.

Six other vessels are expected to sail in the course of 2021, also from the Quai de la Papeterie operated by Sea Invest Rouen in Grand-Couronne. The next call at Grand-Couronne is expected towards the end of May. (cd)
