Spotlight on rebranded Mexican cargo carrier

AeroUnion has been rebranded as Avianca Cargo Mexico, unveiling a new identity after 27 years of operations. The change supports Mexico’s growing role in global airfreight and reflects a strategic transformation with strengthened services and fleet renewal.

A second Airbus A330 P2F freighter has joined the fleet, offering over 60 t of capacity for time and temperature-sensitive cargo.

While remaining an independent operator, Avianca Cargo Mexico will benefit from Avianca Cargo’s commercial reach and network of over 350 destinations. Sectors such as pharma, automotive, perishables and electronics will benefit from expanded US-Mexico-Colombia routes and links to Asia and Europe.

CEO Danilo Correa called the relaunch “a new chapter connecting Mexico with the world through excellence and agility.” (ah)
