Strategic changes for SEA Electric

US-based global automotive technology company SEA Electric, founded in Australia in 2012, aims to provide electrification solutions to align with President Joe Biden’s proposed investment and EV infrastructure plan. The company is strengthening its management team to meet the demands for commercial and transit programmes in North America, while expanding its assembly facilities and technical centres.

Nick Casas (photo), vice president of sales, North America, will lead SEA Electric’s growth strategy, leveraging his more than 12 years of national partnership expertise, including “franchise and fleet expansions on a global platform and working with partner companies such as Sumitomo and Michelin.”

Director of national accounts Anna Plaza will support US and Canada fleets accounts, including truck and van accounts, and all Class 3 vehicle fleets that are up to 16 feet. She brings more than twenty years of global and domestic development experience. Most recently, she held a senior leadership position at COOP by Ryder.

As strategic account manager for the West Coast, Tedd Rossi is in charge of bringing SEA Electric’s proprietary electric power-system technology, SEA-Drive, a powertrain platform, to companies and organisations. He worked as a sales manager for Cox Automotive for nearly ten years. (amh)
