Streamlined freight via TMX
Princeton TMX, a transport management system for industrial supply chains, has launched two rail features – 'Rail Patterns' and 'Advanced Shipment Notifications' (ASN) – designed to simplify and accelerate freight processes. The Rail Patterns function auto-generates key shipment data reducing errors and setup time.
The ASN feature enables suppliers to send shipment notifications directly into the Princeton TMX' platform, supporting better planning and resource allocation. Both capabilities aim to reduce reliance on internal rail expertise across industries such as steel, chemicals, forest products, and food. Built into the multi-modal Princeton TMX system, the new functions work alongside other transport modes, including truck, barge, and intermodal logistics. (js)
