Supporting South Korea's small and medium exporters

The global express transportation company Fedex Express, a subsidiary of Fedex Corp., has signed an alliance programme with Incheon Main Customs to provide discounted international shipping rates for small and medium-sized enterprises.

This alliance programme addresses 130 SMEs identified by Incheon Main Customs as active players in exporting to overseas markets. It aims to boost trade by Korean SMEs and encourage export volumes, which have declined since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Eun-Mi Chae, managing director of Fedex Express Korea: "Korean SMEs play a critical role in the economy. We are focused on supporting their efforts to resume business activities by offering them access to our cost-effective shipping solutions and online digital tools to manage their deliveries." (ah)
