Swiss Brewery buys electric vehicles

Renault Trucks and Feldschlösschen, a Swiss brewery belonging to the Carlsberg Group, have made a tangible commitment to carbon neutral mobility: the truck manufacturer has handed over the keys to 20 electric vehicles. Feldschlösschen took delivery of most of the 26 t Renault Trucks D Wide Z.E. trucks several months ago.

The trucks, manufactured in Renault Trucks’ Blainville-sur-Orne facility in Normandy, handle deliveries to Swiss customers from the company’s twelve logistics sites.

The vehicles have already covered a total of 66,000 km and transported 9,300 t of goods. As an alternative to diesel trucks, the electric vehicles will enable Feldschlösschen to save 240 t of CO2 a year. (ben)
