Swiss continues to expand cargo network


From today, 28 August 2020, Swiss Worldcargo is back in Moscow DME, performing thrice-weekly A320/A220 flights from Zurich and a weekly A220 flight from Geneva.

 

The Swiss national carrier also announced the addition of two long-haul destinations to its cargo-only network - Buenos Aires and Delhi, both operated weekly with B777-300ERs, which have been modified to allow cargo loading in the economy cabin (245 cbm).

 

The flights to the capital of Argentina, which are also starting today, have a payload of 52 t westbound and 58 t eastbound. Taking off from tomorrow, the flights to Delhi have a payload of 58 t in each direction.

 

In addition to these new routes, Swiss Worldcargo will increase flights in its Dar-es-Salaam/Nairobi service to twice-weekly, beginning next Saturday, 5 September. (ah)
