Teaming up with a Canadian TMS
Cargo One has launched an integration scheme with Descartes’ transport management system (TMS), enabling users to quote and book airfreight services directly in their TMS.
With access to more than 65 airline integrations, users of the Canadian IT services provider can now search, compare and book rates on demand, with booking details synced automatically to avoid manual entry.
The new functionality delivers faster quoting, improved accuracy and greater operational efficiency for freight forwarders worldwide. According to Descartes and Cargo One, the collaboration supports better shipment outcomes, helps forwarders win more business and enhances customer service. An optional upgrade to 'Cargo One Pro' adds advanced tools for rate management, quoting and tracking. The integration is available now to all Descartes TMS customers worldwide. (ah)
