Thai Airways names new GSSA in Scandinavia
Thai Airways has named HWF Scandinavia and Finland, a subsidiary of ECS Group, as its exclusive GSSA in Sweden and Denmark. Starting today, 15 May 2025, the partnership covers daily widebody services from Stockholm and Copenhagen to Bangkok, connecting Nordic markets with Southeast Asia and Australia.
HWF will manage all sales and customer service activities, combining local market expertise with ECS Group’s digital tools such as real-time tracking, pricing intelligence and booking optimisation. Thai Airways praised ECS Group’s strategic insight and long-standing partnership across global markets.
"We’re not just offering capacity, but value through technology, local knowledge and deep logistics engagement," said ECS CEO Jean Ceccaldi. The appointment marks a renewed push to strengthen Thai Cargo’s position in the Nordic region. (ah)
