Thalia's Hörselgau hub goes live
Rhenus and Thalia have inaugurated an omnichannel hub in Hörselgau (Germany), equipped with one of the most advanced 'autostore' systems, according to Thalia.
Designed and implemented by Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, the facility features 240,000 storage bins and 530 robots operating on 8,000 m² to fulfil orders for Thalia’s retail stores and e-commerce customers. The long-term logistics partnership between Thalia and Rhenus was recently extended by ten years.
Dr Stephan Peters, Rhenus board member, said that "with scalable, automated and future-proof solutions, we enable our customers to concentrate on their core business." (js)
