Three Morocco loops for ro-ro traffic
A new Morocco express service has been launched by the CMA CGM Group. The offer encompasses three loops between Morocco and southern Europe. First departures of loops 1 and 2 will take place simultaneously in Tangiers and Marseille on 21 October.
Loop 1 connects Casablanca and Tangier to Marseille with three departures per week from Morocco. Loop 2 connects Tangier to Marseille and Genoa with two departures per week from Morocco. The two deployed vessels will have a capacity of 180 trailers and operate the whole year.
Loop 3 is weekly fixed day service, available from November to April. A ship with a 65 trailer capacity will connect Tangier to Port-Vendres.
The French shipping company also offers a door-to-door service with rail connections to Marseille, Genoa and Port-Vendres. (kd)
