TIACA and HAUS61 Partner to support airfreight innovation

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and HAUS61 GmbH have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and start-up development within the global airfreight industry. This partnership highlights TIACA's commitment to supporting new businesses shaping the sector's future. Partnering with logistics accelerator HAUS61, TIACA aims to create collaboration opportunities between established industry players and innovative start-ups.

Roos Bakker, chair of TIACA, said innovation is vital for sustainable growth and the partnership will bridge start-ups with key industry stakeholders. Glyn Hughes, TIACA's director general, added that connecting start-ups with industry leaders will accelerate innovation and agility. Under the MoU, HAUS61 will lead start-up scouting and coordination. The collaboration includes a dedicated Startup Pavilion, investor pitch sessions at the TIACA Air Cargo Forum, and joint workshops. Both organisations will hold quarterly reviews to assess progress, with the MoU effective from 1.11.2025.
