Tiaca appoints China regional representative
The International Air Cargo Association (Tiaca) has appointed Fowler Wang as its regional representative in China, to strengthen its engagement in this key market.
Wang, the founder and CEO of 'Summit Asia Events', established the 'China Cargo Summit' as a leading industry platform. During the pandemic he coordinated more than 1,000 international cargo charter flights and has advised players on airline start-ups, airport coordination and freight forwarding operations. Earlier in his career he held senior roles in sales and technology at NCR and with a 'Fortune 500' company.
Tiaca chair Steven Polmans said Wang’s experience makes him "the ideal representative to expand Tiaca's impact and support our members in China." Director general Glyn Hughes added that his appointment will enhance the association’s ability to foster collaboration and strengthen engagement with stakeholders. (ah)
