Tigresses flown to Moscow one month ago
On 9 November 2025, Aeroflot transported two Amur tigresses on flight SU1713 from Khabarovsk to Moscow. Requested by the Amur Tiger Centre, the move brought an adult female and a younger tigress of about 18–20 months to the Moscow Zoo, where both now support its conservation programme.
Captured near settlements in Khabarovsk Krai, the adult tigress required treatment for a spinal injury, while the younger one had been taken into care together with its mother and brother.
The transport once again showcased Aeroflot Cargo’s ability to move highly sensitive live cargo safely and reliably, continuing the airline’s cooperation with the Amur Tiger Centre. In autumn 2024, the airline signed an official cooperation agreement with the non-profit organisation. (ah)
