Traton Group takes over IT developer
The international Traton Group, which combines the brands MAN, Scania, Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus and Navistar, has been on the road since 2016 with its digital brand RIO as a cloud-based solution for the entire transport and logistics ecosystem. It has now successfully completed the acquisition of Loom Technologies from Paderborn.
The purchase agreement, concluded in July 2021, became legally binding in December. The aim is to connect all participants in the supply chain with the help of RIO's digital services and old and new partners.
Loom Technologies was founded in Paderborn in 2015. With its TMS Cartright, the young company with around 25 employees has so far focused on optimising logistics processes, cost savings and ease of use. (sh)
