U-Freight earns HK-AEO status
Hong Kong-based logistics provider U-Freight Ltd has received official accreditation as a Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (HK-AEO) from the Hong Kong customs and excise department. The status confirms that U-Freight meets security standards in cargo handling and operational processes.
CEO Simon Wong highlighted the operational advantages: “This means that our customers can rely on quicker deliveries and optimised supply chain efficiency.” Effective from 12 May 2025, the accreditation is valid for three years, after which U-Freight will undergo a renewal audit. The company sees the HKAEO status as a recognition of its commitment to secure logistics services. (js)
