U-Freight seizes market opportunity

The U-Freight Group is preparing to meet surging demand in e-commerce logistics, with the global market expected to grow by 15.5% in 2025, according to the company.

CEO Simon Wong cited a recent Transport Intelligence report, noting that despite tariff threats and ‘de minimis’ rule changes, e-commerce logistics remains on an upward trajectory. U-Freight has been investing in warehousing, including autonomous mobile robots and intelligent racking at its Hong Kong e-fulfilment centre.

Wong emphasised that evolving consumer habits will continue to drive cross-border and domestic e-commerce logistics for years to come. All of the initiatives seek to enhance efficiency and value to allow the company “to capitalise on the opportunities that e-commerce presents,” as Wong stated. (js)
