Up to 15% less fuel
The Singapore-based forwarder SNL Logistics has extended its green fleet and acquired 16 new Scania Super trucks to improve performance and save fuel. Four months after putting the vehicles into service, SNL recorded a 12%-15% decrease in fuel consumption, which is double than the haulier expected.
SNL Logistics is a specialist for multimodal transports worldwide and, besides trucking, offers support services like warehousing and customs brokerage. The forwarder is Scania’s first customer in Singapore to purchase Super truck models. (ben)
