UPS opens healthcare facility in Singapore
UPS Healthcare has opened its largest centre dedicated to healthcare in the Asia-Pacific region at 36 Tuas Road, Singapore.
The site covers 11,500 m², doubles UPS Healthcare’s footprint in the region and aims to strengthen Singapore’s role as a hub for advanced healthcare logistics, as the company has reported.
The facility features automation, dry ice dispensers, vertical lean lift systems and storage areas compliant with good distribution and good manufacturing practices. It offers temperature-controlled zones, including a walk-in -20°C freezer, to ensure safe handling of sensitive medical products. The site is part of UPS’s strategy to meet rising demand in the Asia-Pacific region's healthcare sector. (js)
