FS logistix and Laziale distribuzione have created 'Click & Log', a new urban logistics start-up based at Scalo San Lorenzo in Rome. The hub is connected to rail stations, airports and the port of Civitavecchia, aiming to provide sustainable and flexible logistics services as FS logistix reported. Electric vehicles will be used for first- and last-mile deliveries, while photovoltaic systems will power offices and warehouses.
Through the web portal the company offers B2B and B2C services for sectors such as retail, HoReCa and fashion, including same-day, overnight and holiday deliveries. Value-added services include outsourcing projects, smart packaging, real-time support and supply chain traceability. FS logistix CEO Sabrina De Filippis said: "Click & Log represents our new vision of urban logistics: modular, integrated and sustainable." (js)
