Vanguard Logistics Services stakes claim in Egypt
Vanguard Logistics Services (Vanguard) has established Vanguard Egypt with the inauguration of offices in Alexandria and Cairo. By setting up owned offices in Egypt, Vanguard estimates that it has cemented its position as a foremost neutral ocean freight consolidator, building on the company's launch into Turkey earlier in 2014.
Starting business in Egypt underscores Vanguard's continued development in the Middle East and Africa, and gives customers seamless and integrated access to what is the third largest country and a key trading post in the region. Vanguard Egypt has already established more than ten direct import LCL consolidation services, including trade lanes from the USA and Europe. The offices provide a full portfolio of services with Egypt's major trading partners for customers in that part of the world.
