Warehouse boom at London Gateway continues

In UK, demand for logistics space continues to grow. DP World has just broken ground to build a new speculative 11,000 sqm green warehouse at London Gateway’s port-centric Logistics Park. According to the company, demand in the Southeast of England is even "reaching ‘unprecedented’ levels."

With record volumes of cargo handled by its two UK logistics hubs at London Gateway and Southampton in H1/2022, DP World’s new warehouse is set for completion by Q3/2023.

Oliver Treneman, park development director at DP World in UK: “The new speculative LG 119 is likely to be of interest to any growing business looking to expand or establish new operations.”

Advantages of the location include the existing road links, access to an adjacent rail terminal and proximity to both London and a deep-water port. Four major new tenants have taken leases at London Gateway’s Logistics Park n the last twelve months. (sh)
