WCAworld certifies first acadamy member
The WCAworld academy has completed its first successful 'Good Distribution Practice' (GDP) accreditation audit, with Embassy freight London UK becoming the first member to achieve full compliance. Recently introduced, the audit programme provides WCAworld members with a process to align operations with global GDP standards for pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics. It includes expert assessments, gap analyses and certification under EU and PIC/S guidelines.
Accredited companies receive official certification and ongoing compliance support. WCAworld said the programme is set to become a benchmark for GDP compliance within the logistics industry. "This milestone reflects WCA world Academy’s commitment to raising global compliance standards and equipping members with the knowledge and tools to lead in pharmaceutical logistics," said Leah McKenna, general manager at WCAworld academy.
