WFS partners with JetPak
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a Sats company, is enhancing its e-commerce & freight forwarder handling (EFFH) services in Denmark by launching a new road transport partnership with JetPak for freight and e-commerce pickup and delivery. JetPak, with over 40 years of experience in transport, offers same-day, door-to-door delivery throughout the Nordic region, supported by more than 170 local offices. This collaboration enables WFS to provide first and last mile transport services, benefiting its e-commerce, freight forwarder and airline customers.
In addition, JetPak has secured a six-year contract for dedicated warehouse space at WFS's new EFFH facility at Copenhagen airport, which opened in July. WFS's operations at the airport include over 21,500 sqm of facilities, featuring a temperature-controlled pharma area and EFFH building. These investments support a growing range of value-added services for freight forwarders and the increasing e-commerce shipment volumes. WFS's EFFH services encompass various logistics operations, including readiness for carriage, security screening, customs preparation and customized transportation solutions.
