Windy joint venture in the North Sea
A joint venture between the shipping and transport companies, Blue Water Shipping and Bremer Reederei E&B (BREB), has been founded to concentrate on serving Germany’s wind turbine industry.
The newly established firm Blue Water BREB has a wide portfolio including port agency, stevedoring, loading, discharging, storage and transport services, based on years of experience and expertise.
BREB has been active in the German offshore wind industry since 2008. Today, the company has offices in Bremen, Cuxhaven (head office), Sassnitz-Mukran and on Heligoland.
Danish-owned Blue Water Shipping, which operates more than 60 offices worldwide, has been providing services to the wind industry both on and offshore for more than 20 years. The company is headquartered in Esbjerg (Denmark) – the world’s biggest port for shipment of wind turbines. (ah)
