World Cargo Solutions partners with Salamair
SalamAir, Oman's low-cost carrier, has announced a five-year partnership with World Cargo Solutions to implement total cargo management services across its freight network. This collaboration aims to enhance SalamAir's customer service and improve the efficiency of its freight operations, aligning with Oman Vision 2040 to promote logistics and trade growth.
The partnership will expand SalamAir Cargo's global reach, leveraging WCS's established network of airlines and logistics partners. Steven Allen, chief commercial officer of SalamAir, emphasised the importance of this partnership in strengthening the airline's position in the airfreight market. Nilan Gunatilaka, acting CEO of WCS, expressed enthusiasm for bringing their expertise to support SalamAir's operations, focusing on efficient and innovative cargo solutions. This collaboration underlines SalamAir's commitment to sustainable growth and enhances connectivity and trade opportunities in Oman's aviation and logistics sectors.
