WSP leads Spats3 partnership
Mott MacDonald, in partnership with WSP, has secured a place on National Highways’ new 'Specialist Professional and Technical Services 3' (Spats3 framework), a six-year programme valued at up to GBP 495 million.
The agreement builds on the firms’ collaboration under previous frameworks and will provide specialist advice in 26 technical fields, including geotechnics, ITS, asset management and environmental services.
With WSP as the lead contractor, the partnership will continue to support major initiatives, such as National Highways’ net zero plan. The Spats3 framework is designed to shape the future of the UK’s road network by delivering innovation, resilience and technical leadership across the sector according to Graeme Smith, managing director for transport and mobility solutions for the UK and Europe at Mott MacDonald.
