XCMG supports electric long-haul
XCMG Machinery is playing a central role in the operational launch of China’s 3,350 km “Green Electricity Supercharging Corridor”, a strategic infrastructure project designed to support long-distance electric freight transport in Yunnan Province.
To support the corridor’s operational requirements, XCMG has deployed a portfolio of ten battery-electric truck models developed under its scenario-driven product strategy as the company reported. The lineup includes electric tractor units for long-haul and cross-border transport, dump trucks for construction materials and mixer trucks, aiming to ensure coverage across multiple logistics applications. "The full-fledged operation of this super-charging corridor marks a milestone in 'road-electricity synergy' for the logistics sector," said Yang Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery.
