XPO Logistics names executives for spin-off
XPO has appointed Eduardo Pelleissone president for the Americas and Asia Pacific regions and Neil Shelton chief strategy officer of GXO Logistics. Their positions will become effective when XPO’s intended spin-off comes on stream in Q3/2021, creating two pure-play industry powerhouses.
Pelleissone brings more than twenty years of experience leading multinational operations in the food, logistics and transportation industries. He joined XPO in 2020 as chief transformation officer, after serving for Kraft Heinz Company as executive vice president of global operations and COO.
Shelton looks back on 25 year long career in heading technology, media and telecom specialist sales at JP Morgan Chase in London, but also earlier at Credit Suisse, Citigroup and Arthur Andersen. His experience also includes leading several research teams to top rankings, and piloting more than ten IPOs, including Autotrader, Cellnex, Delivery Hero, Hello Fresh and Zalando in Europe. (amh)
