XPO taps Balcou to grow French freight role
XPO Logistics has appointed Vincent Balcou as its director of operations for global forwarding activities in France, thus strengthening the country’s role in XPO’s European logistics network.
With over 30 years of experience at Maersk, MSC and Dachser, Balcou will lead the integration of air and ocean freight into XPO’s end-to-end supply chain services.
France is a key pillar in XPO’s strategy, with offices in Roissy, Le Havre, Marseille, Nantes, Lyon and Strasbourg connecting trade flows to European markets. Balcou will focus on building resilience amid geopolitical shifts and rising compliance demands, ensuring France serves as a hub for agile, sustainable freight solutions for various industries. (ah)
