Yang Ming adds Haiphong to JKX service rotation
The Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation launched its expanded Japan Kansai Express (JKX) service with a first call at Haiphong (Vietnam) on Sunday, 30 March.
The extension strengthens the carrier’s presence in Southeast Asia and responds to growing demand in Vietnam’s fast-developing logistics market. The JKX service now offers a 21-day round voyage with a weekly schedule.
The current port rotation starts in Osaka and continues to Kobe, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Nansha, Shekou, Haiphong, Hong Kong and Shekou before returning to Osaka.
The ‘TS Guangzhhou’ is the first to serve the new Haiphong leg, departing today, 31 March. With this addition, Yang Ming will enhance service reliability and connectivity in its intra-Asia network. (ah)
