ITJ 13 / 2025

Dear readers,

Logistics service providers move goods to and from every corner of the world – and logistics media and trade fairs do much the same, only with information. Logistics companies need hubs to handle and consolidate cargo, while logistics fairs and media concentrate knowledge in one place. Both are about the exchange of information – whether at an exhibition or in print.

Messe München GmbH, organiser of the transport logistic, air cargo and project logistic exhibitions, and Logismedia Group AG, publisher of the ITJ International Transport Journal, are now expanding their cooperation – previously centred mainly on the Munich event – across all continents (p. 30). The transport logistic has long had a presence on four continents, and ITJ is read on all of them.

This very issue of the ITJ covers the Logitrans exhibition (also a Messe München event) and celebrates it with a Turkey special, including an interview with Ali Türk, chief cargo officer of Turkish Airlines (p. 22).

Since Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the New Silk Road between China and Europe has become quieter. Yet, as Bartosz Miszkiewicz of Symlog explains in our interview, the connection is still alive (p. 16).

All this and much more awaits you in ITJ 13/2025.

Enjoy your reading,

Andreas Müller
